King Von would be a major player in early Chicago rap when he released his debut studio album “Who’s That Knocking” on February 17, 2015. The altercation with Quando Rondo’s crew on November 6, 2020, left King Von dead at the scene, associated with a murder. One of his associates, Jordan Hill, was shot in the leg and placed into custody. On November 6, Bennett’s body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Atlanta by an unidentified driver and requested autopsies be performed. On November 7, after king von autopsy, it was revealed that Bennett died from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. In March 2017, Bennett’s family filed a $100 million wrongful death lawsuit against Quando Rondo and Warhol Entertainment in Fulton County Superior Court.
Bennett was shot dead on November 6, 2016, at a Sunoco gas station in Atlanta after leaving the studio. According to police reports, Quando Rondo approached Bennett and his crew as they sat inside his Porsche S.U.V. at the gas station and asked why they were “looking at him”.

The group released several independent albums bearing names like “Soldiers of the Streets” and “The Streets Are For Free”.

On November 6, 2016, Chicago rapper King Von and his friend Jordan Hill were involved in an altercation with Quando Rondo at a gas station on Flat Shoals Ave., less than three miles from the nearest intersection of Moreland Avenue and Flat Shoals Road.
The altercation led to two separate gun battles between King Von’s entourage and Quando Rondo’s entourage/crew. The first gun battle happened before King Von arrived at the gas station or knew that Quando Rondo was there. When he did arrive, he got out of his vehicle to get a soda from the Sunoco gas station. While walking to the gas station door, Quando Rondo approached him and asked why he was looking at him.
After the initial gun battle, Quando Rondo fled the scene with his crew. King Von and his crew got back into their vehicle to retrieve money from one of their pockets. At that point, a second gun battle ensued in which King Von was shot several times and eventually died at the scene, and a day after his death picture of king von dead went viral. In addition to King Von, one of his associates, identified as Jordan Hill, who was also in the car that night, was shot in the leg.
How time was King von morgue?
King Von’s body was left in the back of his Porsche S.U.V. at the gas station for several hours before it was taken to the morgue at Grady Memorial Hospital and one day after king von’s autopsy. His vehicle sat at the gas station for about 24 hours before his cousin, who is a Chicago police officer, asked a friend that works security for the Sunoco gas station to get inside King Von’s vehicle and move it from where it was parked so that an ambulance could access his body and take him to the hospital. The next day, King Von’s vehicle was towed to an impound lot, and his body was transported to the morgue.
On November 7, the Fulton County Medical Examiner said that at 1:35 pm (E.S.T.), they received a call requesting king von autopsy on Bennett and Jordan Hill. They were shot at a gas station in Atlanta, Georgia. Bennett died from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, and Hill was shot in the leg. The medical examiner said that King Von died two days prior from a single gunshot wound to his back which pierced his heart.
Who leaked the picture of king von dead?
The day after King Von was killed, Quando Rondo’s uncle Marquinez Robinson (who goes by the stage name “Marq The Legend”) leaked a picture of King Von’s dead body on his Instagram account. In the picture’s caption, he claimed that his nephew was innocent and that “his hand isn’t even in his pocket”. The photo and caption have since been removed.
On November 16, a video titled “King Von murdered at the gas station” was posted to Bodymore Murdaland’s YouTube channel, including many pictures of King Von. The video shows a man standing next to an S.U.V. (which has its door open and is parked in front of a Sunoco) who appears to be recording with a cellphone camera.

On January 20, 2017, leaked king von autopsy pictures were released by an Instagram user named “kingvon_boy”. The Instagram user explicitly states that he leaked the pictures because he wanted to expose the truth of what had happened at the gas station on November 6.
On February 17, 2017, after 3 months of an official autopsy by 5 I.C.E. doctors and 5 morgue workers being probed for his death to be ruled a murder, King Von body was finally released to his family in Skokie Valley, Illinois, for an open casket funeral service before he was laid to rest in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens cemetery in Skokie Valley Illinois.
